Workplace Harassment Awareness Program Promoting Safety and Inclusivity

On November 8 2024 the Internal Complaints Committee of Govt College Naraingarh organized a PowerPoint presentation on Prevention Prohibition and Redressal of Sexual Harassment at the Workplace at 10 a.m. in room number 26. The event was held under the chairmanship of Joint Director Dr. Ajit Singh and officiating principal Mr. Joga Singh. The event aimed to sensitize both students and staff to critical issues surrounding workplace harassment. The presentation by ICC team members Dr. Seema Ms. Renu Dr. Devinder Dhingra and Ms. Paramveer covered essential aspects of recognizing preventing and addressing harassment in professional settings. Participants were informed about their rights and responsibilities fostering awareness on how to create a safe and respectful environment for everyone. The session provided practical insights into the protocols for reporting harassment emphasizing both the roles and support mechanisms available within the institution. Dr. Reema Sandhu Dr. Rajiv Goyal Dr. Gauri Deputy Paramvir Kaur and Sandeep Kumar contributed significantly to the success of this program. The event witnessed active participation demonstrating the institution’s commitment to establishing a secure and inclusive workplace culture.
