Under the chairmanship of Principal Dr.Khushila a guest lectures on “The Psychological Impact of Cyber Crime: Women’s Safety in the Digital Age” and “Breaking Gender Stereotypes “were organised at Government P.G. College Naraingarh on 18.02.2025. The event was organised by Women’s Cell incharge Professor Renu Kumari and ICC incharge Dr. Seema Rana with keynote speaker Dr. Anupama Sihag from G.M.N. College Ambala Cantt. The principal welcomed Dr. Sihag and emphasized the benefits and risks of the internet. Dr. Seema Rana introduced the speaker who discussed the rising threat of cybercrime its psychological and social impact on women and the importance of digital literacy and cyber security.
Participants raised questions about online harassment identity theft and legal measures which Dr. Sihag addressed in detail. She also shared practical strategies for protecting personal information. Dr. Devender Dhingra expressed gratitude to the speaker and Professor Renu Kumari highlighted the need for cyber security awareness. The event was successfully organized with the support of ICC and Women’s Cell members.
