15-03-2024 Workshop on Entrepreneurship & Self Employment

One day Workshop-cum-Lecture was organised by Entrepreneurship Development Cell on 15.03.2024 for students of our college in Smart Class Room at 12:00 Noon. The workshop was convened by Dr. Rajiv Goel, Convener Entrepreneurship Development Cell. Ms. Tanushree Chandra, Incubator Centre Head, and Mr. Pankaj Singh, Outreach Coordinator, Start-Up Incubator cum Centre of Excellence, Government, PG College, Sector 1 Panchkula, conducted this workshop. The main motive behind conducting this Workshop cum Lecture was to make our students learn idea generation and execution. The key speakers conducted hands on activity with students by creating on spot teams. Both the mentors enthusiastically mentored and encouraged the students in actively participating in the activity. They shared the complete step by step procedure on how to work for developing the plan for entrepreneurship. Firstly, starting with defining the Problem Statement, then finding solution to solve the problem, creating unique selling proposition, formulating the business model, and lastly estimating the cost or investment that might be involved in the entire project idea so generated, were the easy steps that the Centre Head shared with the students. The students thoroughly enjoyed and participated in the workshop with great zeal. More than 50 students were benefitted from this workshop. All the members of Entrepreneurship Development Cell, Dr. Manisha Devi, Mr. Daljeet Kumar, Mrs. Ritu Nara and Mrs. Ashima Thakur were present to encourage students throughout the workshop.
