On April 12, 2023, the college's Placement Cell organized an expert lecture on cosmetology by ORANE Institute. Ms. Kritika Dhingra was the resource person of the lecture, which was held in the seminar hall at 12:30 pm. During the lecture, Ms. Dhingra shared her insights on the usefulness of cosmetology in today's world and discussed various career options in the field of beauty and wellness.
She elaborated on the scope of cosmetology in India and abroad, highlighting the potential for students to pursue a career in this field and earn a living while settling abroad. Ms. Dhingra encouraged students to pursue their interests and offered guidance on how their institute and other such institutes can provide courses in the field.
Furthermore, she discussed various certification courses, including basic and advanced courses, that can be pursued in cosmetology, which can be helpful for students in both India and abroad. She invited students to attend demo classes at their venue to gain detailed knowledge in the field.
The Principal of the College, Mrs. Promila Malik, motivated students to pursue their careers according to their interests and to upgrade their skills regularly. The lecture was attended by Ms. Reema Sandhu, Mrs. Priya Dhingra, Dr. Swaranjeet Singh, and Mr. Rajinder Kumar.
The expert lecture proved to be highly beneficial, with approximately 50 students benefiting from the counseling.
