29-11-2022 Science Exhibition

The college conducted Science Exhibition on 29/11/2022. The students from the Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science and Geography Department participated in the exhibition. Nearly eighty three students from different streams participated in the exhibition in which they prepared exhibits under the guidance of their respective teachers as per the topics decided by the department of Higher Education. The students displayed the exhibits in the Labs assigned to them. Mr. Anil Saini, Associate Professor (Chemistry) deputed at GCW Shahzadpur was the judge of the exhibition along with other subject teachers of the respective departments. The judges chose Ist, IInd and IIIrd exhibits in the different department according to content, relevancy and explanation. The prize distribution ceremony was held in the last session where the Principal Mrs. Promila Malik and Mr. Anil Saini awarded trophies and certificates to the position holders. Other students who participated in the exhibition were given the certificates of participation as well. The refreshment was distributed to the students at the end. The Principal of the college congratulated the students for their participation and motivated them to further enhance their knowledge and also improve their skills to meet the needs of changing times. Mr. Anil Saini shared his experience of visiting the science exhibition and guided the students on how they can improve themselves further. Ms. Reema Sandhu, Convener of the Science Exhibition thanked all the faculty members and students for successful conduct of the Science Exhibition. Dr. Rajeev Goel, Mr. Iqbal Singh, Dr. Swaranjeet Singh , Dr. Neha Walia and other faculty members contributed in a big way for the successful organisation of the exhibition.
