Government College Naraingarh Shines at the 47th Zonal Youth Festival

Government College Naraingarh students continue to excel academically and in cultural activities offering them a platform to enhance their skills and showcase their talents. Recently the students participated in the 47th Zonal Youth Festival at SD College Ambala Cantt and delivered exceptional performances securing a total of nine awards in various competitions.
Principal Dr Ajit Singh congratulated the winners on their achievements. Over 70 students from different classes participated in numerous categories including dance events like choreography and Rasiyan solo male and female music events group songs Haryanvi folk Haryanvi solo instrumental folk songs general light Indian vocal classical instrumental solo Haryanvi orchestra mime fine arts and literary events such as elocution debates Sanskrit declamation clay modeling mehndi installation poster making on the spot painting cartooning and collage.
The students won accolades across various events including second place awards in group songs general clay modeling skit and mimicry. They also secured third place positions in Haryanvi folk songs general folk songs solo ritual folk song Haryanvi solo instrumental and Haryanvi orchestra. Students who achieved second place were honored with silver medals while third place winners received certificates of appreciation.
Principal Dr Ajit Singh congratulated the Cultural Committee faculty members and winning students encouraging them to continue nurturing their talents. Professor Renu Kumari the Cultural Committee In Charge from the Commerce Department praised the students’ efforts in highlighting Haryana’s rich cultural heritage. Professors Joga Singh Sanjeev Kumar Dr Apoorva Chawla and committee members Dr Shubham Dr Devender TP Dr Seema Rana Prof Nisha Prof Ashima Dr Manisha along with all teaching and non teaching staff played vital roles in making this event a grand success.
This recognition at the Zonal Youth Festival has brought pride to Government College Naraingarh inspiring students to pursue excellence in all future endeavors.
