25 Jan 2025 National Youth Day Campaign Spreading Awareness on HIV AIDS

From 12th January 2025 to 26th January 2025 the National Youth Day Campaign was organized under the guidance of Civil Surgeon Haryana State AIDS Control Society. As part of the campaign on 23rd January 2025 various awareness activities were conducted at Government College Naraiangarh under the leadership of Principal Mrs. Khushila.
The program included activities aimed at spreading awareness about HIV AIDS such as a signature campaign promotion of the national toll free helpline 1097 and poster and slogan writing competitions in which students participated enthusiastically. A collective oath taking ceremony was also organized to strengthen the sense of responsibility toward HIV AIDS awareness.
Digital initiatives included downloading the NACO AIDS app providing participants with reliable information about HIV AIDS. Dr. Jagdeep Singh delivered an awareness lecture covering prevention treatment and support systems for HIV AIDS.
Addressing the event officiating incharge Dr. Devendra Dhingra emphasized the importance of youth participation in eliminating the stigma surrounding HIV AIDS. Youth Red Cross incharge Dr. Apoorva Chawla administered the oath to students and teachers inspiring them to contribute to this noble cause.
Mrs. Nisha Mrs. Sapna Gupta and Mrs. Manisha also played a key role in the success of the campaign. With active participation from students and staff the program was highly successful in fostering awareness and a sense of responsibility among the youth.
