On November 11 2024 a rally was organized at Government College Naraingarh under the chairmanship of Principal Dr Ajit Singh and in the presence of Acting Principal Mr Joga Singh. The event was a collaborative effort by the Road Safety Committee and the NCC Unit aimed at raising awareness among college students about road transport rules. The rally emphasized wearing helmets while riding twowheelers and demonstrated various traffic signals through charts.
Acting Principal Mr Joga Singh stated that adherence to traffic rules can prevent road accidents. Road Safety Committee Convener and NCC Officer Lieutenant Dr Satish Kumar who participated in the rally mentioned that one of the main reasons for the increasing number of road accidents is the high volume of vehicles on the roads and a lack of awareness about traffic regulations. He also highlighted that the primary objective of the colleges Road Safety Committee is to educate students about road safety rules and various traffic signs as nearly 300 students commute to the college on their personal vehicles. Therefore it is essential to make all students aware of road safety regulations and signs.
