EXPERT LECTURE ON CAREER COUNSELLING AND FINANCIAL LITERACY
An expert lecture was conducted in the college under the placement cell on “Career Counseling and Financial Literacy” on 08/12/2022. Sh. Jaswant Singh, Manager, SBI( Retd.) was the resource person . He guided the students about opening their own bank accounts and provided information about different saving schemes in which they can invest for their future. He also gave various tips to the students for appearing in various competitive exams including IAS etc. He also motivated them to start preparing while doing their graduation and choose their subjects accordingly. He also asked them to go though various websites for preparation of General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude etc. Ms. Promila Malik, Principal , Govt. College Naraingarh also motivated the students and encouraged the conduct of more lectures related to Career Counselling for them from time to time. Ms. Reema Sandhu, Incharge of Placement Cell thanked the Principal, resource person , Teachers and students for spending their time for the lecture. Dr. Rajeev Goel, Dr. Priya Dhingra, Dr. Rahul Kumar, Dr. Sonu Walia and others were present in the lecture.
